On Saturday, November 5th, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day as over 1,200 visitors and residents turned out to enjoy the 4th annual “Harvest in The Hills” model home tour and fall festival in The Woodlands Hills. This year’s event drew record crowds.
The smell of fresh coffee and kettle corn filled the air as attendees migrated from the Activity Center to tour the 15 beautifully decorated model homes. The Woodlands Hills offers new homes by eight local and national homebuilders which include Century Communities, Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Ravenna Homes and Westin Homes. These quality builders offer one-, one-and-a-half- and two-story single-family homes, set on a variety of lot sizes including 40-, 45- and 50-foot homesites, 65-foot sites and spacious 75-foot homesites. Homes are priced from the $280s.
Participants enjoyed live music, food trucks, snow cones, children’s crafts, a pumpkin patch, an inflatable obstacle course, face painters, caricature and balloon artists, an interactive bubbles station, and tons of photo ops!
On top of that, it wasn’t surprising that once again the nationally acclaimed Bone-A-Fied Talent Group seemed to steal the show, featuring celebrity dogs of all breeds and sizes, dancing, flipping, and doing the most incredible high-flying tricks. As the pups just finished up their new TV movie “Junkyard Dogs”, they were signing plenty of PAWtographs and taking pictures with attendees in between performances.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Kellie Wentz, Dani Gorsalitz, and Zach Sewill for being the three winners of the amazing prizes that were up for grabs in our raffle for doing a full round tour of all 15 model homes! Also, an extra special thank you to all those who came out to the event, toured the model homes, and participated in all of the activities. Stay warm, and we’ll see you all next year!
