The patriotic event kicks off on Independence Eve with the traditional Star-Spangled Salute concert performed by Houston Symphony.   • South County Fourth of July Parade

Thursday, July 4, 9:00 AM, The Woodlands Town Center

The South County Fourth of July Parade rolls out with the theme, “United We Stand”. The 1.3-mile parade features marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats. It begins and ends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. A tent will be set up in front of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for senior citizens and the physically challenged for relief from the summer heat.
