Wednesday, July 3, 8:00 PM, gates open at 6:30 PM, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

The patriotic event kicks off on Independence Eve with the traditional Star-Spangled Salute concert performed by Houston Symphony. Led by conductor Steven Reineke, the concert features a selection of patriotic favorites, American Classics, sing-alongs, and of course, Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” complete with cannons from atop the hill. Free and open to the public, The Howard Hughes Corporation® is proud to be the major sponsor of this patriotic concert since its inception.   • South County Fourth of July Parade

Thursday, July 4, 9:00 AM, The Woodlands Town Center

The South County Fourth of July Parade rolls out with the theme, “United We Stand”. The 1.3-mile parade features marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats. It begins and ends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. A tent will be set up in front of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for senior citizens and the physically challenged for relief from the summer heat.

  • Red, Hot and Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza

Thursday, July 4, 6:00 -10:00 PM, The Woodlands 

The Red, Hot and Blue Festival’s celebration in The Woodlands will feature children’s activities, live music and great food, culminating with an 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza that will launch at four locations at approximately 9:30 pm.
