The Montgomery County Community Foundation does a lot of great things for our community. The nonprofit organization creates and builds a permanent fund to provide for the present and future well-being of our community.

Montgomery County Community Foundation allows donors to plan their lifetime giving as well as their legacy in the community, and ensures their gift will be a permanent source of community capital, which will benefit the people of Montgomery County for generations to come.

Giving can be specified for:

For residents’ recovery after a disaster – especially for those people who are not able to piece together what is needed to get back to a level of normalcy.

To support a particular interest area such as the arts, children and youth, health and wellness, neediest families, veterans or the environment.

To create a fund for the benefit of a specific nonprofit organization or program can create a designated agency fund.

To provide flexible resources needed to support innovative responses to address the community’s most pressing needs.

To assist young adults from Montgomery County in reaching their personal goals and dreams through higher education or technical training.

In 2018, over $1.6 million in grants and scholarships was given to the community! To further support Montgomery County Community Foundation, The Howard Hughes Corporation® initiated a Spring Giving Campaign for new homebuyers throughout Houston area communities – which includes The Woodlands Hills.

Through the campaign, $1,000 of each home sale during March and April will be donated to a charity of choice among the Montgomery County Community Foundation as well as these other notable causes:  YES to YOUTH, Cy-Hope, Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
