Experience America’s national parks! Throughout the week of Saturday, April 21 through Sunday, April 29, all national park service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone.

For one week each April, the National Park Service joins with the National Park Foundation – the official charity of America’s national parks – to highlight the amazing natural and cultural resources of the national parks and invite everyone to celebrate America’s treasured places.

According to the National Park Service, the theme for National Park Week in 2018 is “Park Stars, celebrating everything from star-bright skies to park features and resources. National Park Week is a time to explore amazing places, discover stories of history and culture.”

Parks will be a vital component of the new The Woodlands Hills. Within its 112 acres of open space, plans include up to 20 neighborhood parks along with a 17-acre Village Park. All parks in The Woodlands Hills will be accessible from among the nine-and-a-half miles of hike-and-bike trails and pathways, as well as bike lanes along the major thoroughfares. You can enjoy nature’s great outdoors right outside your door soon at The Woodlands Hills – just a walk or a bike ride away!
