In The Woodlands Hills, we believe communities grow and thrive when people give back. That’s why we make supporting charities and nonprofit organizations a priority. Throughout the year, we partner with and donate to many organizations in the Conroe/Willis area. Together, we know we’re making a difference. You can learn about the many organizations we partner with below.
Willis High School
Every year, The Woodlands Hills provides a $2,500 scholarship to help support the higher education of a well-deserving Willis High School student.
Wellness Wednesdays
We partner with Meador Elementary and Brabham Middle School for Wellness Wednesdays. Once a month, we bring outside groups into the schools to help students learn about maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
Angel Reach
Angel Reach is a nonprofit transitional living program for youth who have aged out of the foster care system. With the support of this organization, young people are able to get back on their feet.
Operation Finally Home
Operation Finally Home provides mortgage-free homes to service members and their families who are ill or have been wounded or injured as a result of their service. This year, The Woodlands Hills is donating a homesite for a new home for a hero in the community.
Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce
The Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce is designated as a three-star accredited chamber of commerce by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This dynamic organization’s mission is to strengthen the economic environment and quality of life in Montgomery County.
Panorama Lions Club
The Panorama Lions Club hosts an annual charity golf tournament, raising money to help seniors throughout the community. The Woodlands Hills is proud to be a major sponsor of this event.
Montgomery County Fair Association – Buyers’ Group
The Woodlands Hills participates in the Buyers’ Group Auction by purchasing livestock. Auction proceeds are put toward college scholarships for students who are members of the local chapter of The National FFA Organization.
Rotary Club of Lake Conroe
In 2018, The Woodlands Hills was the major sponsor for the Rotary Club of Lake Conroe’s annual gala. This year, we will be continuing our sponsorship.
Montgomery County Community Foundation
The Montgomery County Community Foundation was established to create and build a permanent fund to provide for the present and future well-being of the community.
The Woodlands Hills participates as a gala sponsor and also as an in-kind sponsor by raising money for the nonprofit.
A Culture of Giving
The Howard Hughes Corporation (HHC), The Woodlands Hills’ parent company, is passionate about making charitable giving a priority through the organization. More than 20 percent of the Houston team members sit on boards of directors positions at many charitable organizations throughout the Houston area. HHC also gives every full-time employee 24 hours of paid time-off to volunteer for the charity projects of their choice. This policy allowed our marketing team to volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Conroe in December 2018.
Spring Giving Drive
We love the opportunities we’ve had to support all of these amazing charities and nonprofit organizations. Now, you can get involved! For a limited time, we will donate $1,000 to one of three charities for every new home purchased in The Woodlands Hills. Together, we can truly make a difference in our community.
