Founders Park

Located in the heart of The Woodlands Hills and central to the community is the 17-acre Founders Park. Rich in amenities, this signature park immerses visitors in nature and offers a variety of recreational opportunities.

The focal point of Founders Park is the 10,600-square-foot Activity Center which offers 5,500 square feet of event-friendly indoor/outdoor space. The living room area is expanded through an overhead bi-fold door that lifts, integrating outdoor entertainment space. The Activity Center includes a dynamic 5,100-square-foot fitness center complete with state-of-the-art equipment for the ultimate workout experience, and an adjoining expansive outdoor yoga and events lawns.

Teralyn Woods Park

This beautifully designed park is situated on two spacious acres. It features a playground with swing sets, a shaded pavilion, hammocks for relaxation, and winding hike-and-bike pathways that conveniently connect to the nearby Meador Elementary School and Brabham Middle School.

Sue Luce’s Daisy Park

This park features a giant spider climber, stepping logs and a hill tall enough for kids to climb their way up and enjoy rolling down. The central playground, called “Branch Out”, creates a tree fort within the park. Other features include an ADA-compliant swing and a large shaded pavilion.

The Woodlands Hills Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Harkrider Park

Dr. Tim Harkrider Park

Nestled in the forested neighborhood of Drift Rose Terrace, the one-acre park features a giant fort tower, multiple slides, an inclusive We-Go-Round spinner, and a double-bay swing set featuring the Expression Swing allowing an adult to swing with and interact with their child face to face. Musical chime stations allow children of all ages to express their creative side. Harkrider Park also includes three vibrant shade sails, providing a shady retreat.

Rick and Ros Dauzat Peace Park

Sprawling two-and-a-half acres, this park is designed with a passive and tranquil landscape immersed in beautiful, serene nature. A nearly two-mile meandering pathway winds along an intermittent creek bed – a tributary of Stewart’s Creek. Peace Park features shaded sitting areas for relaxation and reflection.

Coach Les Peacock Park

The wooded park is built to replicate a child’s ideal vision of a backyard fort. It is complete with climbing features and elevated play structures integrated among the trees to inspire imaginative and explorative play. Spanning nearly one acre, Peacock Park is set in the neighborhood of Maybella Forest.

Trailhead Ridge Park

Trailhead Ridge Park serves as the central hub of our trail system, connecting over 10 miles of trails along Stewart’s Creek. As the 7th park in the community, it offers diverse recreational options that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. Designed for residents to be within a 1/4-mile walk of a park, Trailhead Ridge enhances accessibility and supports our commitment to preserving 25% greenspace.
