On Saturday, November 8, Howard Hughes Communities and The Woodlands Hills welcomed nearly 1,000 attendees at the annual Harvest in The Hills event that combines a model home tour with a fall festival that’s a bounty of joy for the whole family. The day provided perfect weather with sunshine and cool breezes signaling that autumn is here.
In designing The Woodlands Hills, part of the plan included creating a place where people can enjoy the outdoors and interact with each other during events and activities. With Harvest in The Hills, this extends to the community-at-large, inviting attendees from the surrounding area as well as those searching for a new home to see how living in The Woodlands Hills provides a better lifestyle.
Festivities began at Founders Park where attendees found fun treats and activities like axe throwing, running races and story time within the 17-acre park. Opportunities were available to capture the moment with a selfie, and little ones took a short adventure on a trackless train.
A hayride brought visitors to the model home park where 12 stylishly decorated model homes from nine award-winning builders were available to tour. The Woodlands Hills offers one-, one-and-half- and two-story homes on a variety of lot sizes, priced from the high $200s.
Inside the models, homebuyers also found fun activities like a caricature artist or yummy treats. Trailhead Ridge Park, which sits adjacent to the model homes, is a treasured space for residents. Here visitors explored the armadillo-themed park while participating in additional arts and crafts activities under the canopy of trees, while a unique artist and a petting zoo provided additional entertainment.
At buildout, The Woodlands Hills will include approximately 4,500 homes. By combining world-class amenities, wellness-focused programs and educational classes with community events like Harvest in The Hills, Howard Hughes Communities is improving day-to-day living, adding lifestyle value that goes far beyond housing.
