Nestled among these woodsy trails and surrounded by tall pines, this newest community park provides a natural paradise for all who visit.

Featuring a larger-than-life concrete armadillo, towering rock wall and connecting slide, sprawling net climber, fossil-filled sand pit, ping pong table and peaceful pavilion, this park offers rugged adventure for all. The whole family can enjoy this authentically Texan setting with its shaded trees and butterfly plant pallets.

“Trailhead Ridge Park was designed for children to have a place to express their inner curiosities and engage in nature, and families to enjoy a walk through the forested trails,“ said Kelly Dietrich, Director of Planning and Development for Howard Hughes. “We are very pleased with the vision for Trailhead Ridge Park including the armadillo amenity.”

With these engaging features for adults and kids alike, Trailhead Ridge Park is a place to immerse in nature’s piney forest’ habitat while also serving as a pathway to the world of trails beyond! Welcome to the land of the Armadillo!
