Positioned next to Willis High School, the nearly $40 million, 113,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility provides students with unparalleled career preparation in areas such as:

Nineteen certifications are available – from Nurse Assistant and Veterinary Assistant to Mircosoft® Office Specialist and Floral Design to name a few. Course content is aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education or careers in current and emerging professions.
Willis ISD CTE Director, Travis Utecht, notes, “The Willis ISD Career & Technology Education Center had tremendous success in the first year of operation. More than 1,500 students attended classes that broadened their experiences and enriched their lives. Students learned valuable skills and earned dozens of certifications that made them workforce ready immediately after graduation. We are looking forward to another great year!”
