As we head on into the new year, it is the perfect time to shed some light on our schools, one of the many elements that make The Woodlands Hills an exceptional community. For residents of The Woodlands Hills, the proximity to acclaimed schools in Willis Independent School District (ISD) is undoubtedly one of the community’s standout features. Nestled between the serene Lake Conroe and the majestic Sam Houston National Forest, Willis ISD embodies small-town values and a commitment to nurturing big hearts through quality education.
Meador Elementary and Brabham Middle School are both located adjacent to The Woodlands Hills property, with a connecting pathway from The Woodlands Hills, providing a convenient, short walk to and from school for children and families. Additionally, Willis High School is located nearby, just east of I-45 on FM 830.
Willis ISD is committed to shaping brighter futures with AP and gifted programs as well as its state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility, strategically positioned next to Willis High School. With an impressive investment of nearly $40 million, this 113,000-square-foot facility goes to show the district’s dedication to providing students with unparalleled career preparation. Willis ISD also offers summer enrichment camps for students entering 3rd – 8th grade, which are “district programs designed to enrich students beyond the classroom.”
Education at Willis ISD is intertwined with The Woodlands Hills. Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and embracing opportunities which come hand in hand with the educational resources close to home. Cheers to a bright new year!
