RAVENNA’S 3,865 FLOOR PLAN

Currently under construction for Ravenna Homes is an award-winning floor plan that’s been recognized across Houston and Texas. Ravenna’s 3,865 model makes its debut in The Woodlands Hills with the model showcasing the home in its largest size to-date. At one-and-a-half stories and 4,013-square-feet, the model features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage. Also included are a game room and a bonus room that could also be used as an additional bedroom.

One of the benefits of this Ravenna home is that it adapts to a wide range of lifestyles. Being a luxury custom builder, modifications can be made to the home to suit the way you live, such as making it a one-story home.

“I love that one of the wow factors is that the home offers tall ceilings,” said Angel Lindsley, Sales Manager & Director of Realtor Relations, Ravenna Homes. “This new model home really makes an architectural statement with a 14-foot double-tray ceiling in the living room and 12-13-foot-tall ceilings in all main areas.”

The entire floor plan is designed around the kitchen, the heart of the home. “It’s truly the showpiece of the house,” Lindsley shared. Designed to be the central entertainment space, floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen, family room and bonus room flood the living spaces with natural light. “Each room is a cozy space, but opens to everything else, making the home feel very open and grand.”

A large 10 X 15 sliding window wall in the family room opens to a huge, Texas-sized 33 X 14 covered patio, blending the outside with the interior space. Opening the window wall to the oversized patio offers better flow while entertaining and offers a large space to dine al fresca on beautiful days.

Another notable feature in the home will be a 13-foot tray ceiling in the master bath with a chandelier, making the master’s retreat space even more stately.

Prices start in the high $500s. For those looking to build a custom home from the ground up, Ravenna Homes is offering $40,000 in incentives to spend as you like: for a premium lot, in design center custom options, or to put toward the cost of the home. The new model is slated to be complete by summer.

CHESMAR’S CHEVERNY CHATEAU

Also currently under construction is the Cheverny Chateau by Chesmar Homes. Chesmar was recently acquired by Sekisui House U.S., Inc., one of the largest homebuilders in the world and the #1 builder in Japan. Focusing on long-term living by building sustainable, high-quality homes that offer health, safety and comfort, their website asserts the company’s core mission is ‘to make home the happiest place in the world.’

Situated on 28-foot lots, the Cheverny is a stand-alone, single-family home architecturally similar in style to a townhome, but with no shared walls. The 1,710-square-foot home features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and a two-car garage. A few lots offer the option for a single-story home.

Starting in the $390s, this home offers great value. The design of the floor plan requires a smaller lot size, helping buyers to maintain their budget.

Located on the first floor of the Cheverny is the main living area, half bath and kitchen, with the primary suite, utility room, two additional bedrooms and a flex space located on the second floor.

The large kitchen opens to the living area with high ceilings and an open floor plan making a generous space for entertaining. Upgraded cabinetry with granite counter-tops and pendant lighting elevate the space, while under-counter lighting sets the evening mood.

Large windows make rooms feel bright and cheery. “Chesmar Homes does a really good job with intentional placement of windows to brighten living areas,” said Trace Willis, New Home Sales Consultant, Sekisui House U.S., Inc. “Windows are double-paned, helping to keep electric bills lower, while making rooms feel larger.”

This home provides the space you need to keep your home tidy and organized. You’ll find plenty of cabinet space, and a pantry in the kitchen, an oversized primary closet and walk-in closets in all secondary bedrooms. Providing additional storage space is the dedicated utility room and linen closets.

Chesmar Homes is currently offering half-off upgrades, up to $40,000 on dirt builds, and up to $10,000 toward closing costs, when using their preferred lender. Chesmar’s Cheverny model is nearly complete.

Whether you are purchasing a luxury home or your first home, there’s a lot to consider. “My goal is to make the homebuying process stress free,” said Willis. “I want homebuyers to feel taken care of and have a great experience throughout the whole process, because purchasing a home is one of life’s important moments.”
