National Developer Leads the Way in Several Categories
The Howard Hughes Corporation has been recognized with two National Gold Awards from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for its master planned communities, The Woodlands Hills and Bridgeland. The awards were presented at the NAHB conference awards ceremony held virtually on Friday, March 5.
The highly coveted gold winning categories included:
- Best Special Promotion – Fall Giving Drive – The Woodlands Hills and Bridgeland
- Lifestyle Director of the Year – Tammy Davis – The Woodlands Hills
The Fall Giving Drive was launched during the month of September 2020 in The Woodlands Hills and Bridgeland. The Howard Hughes Corporation donated $500 on behalf of each buyer to one of the following charities selected by the buyer: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, HomeAid Houston, Montgomery County Food Bank and YES to YOUTH. Along with all builders in both communities and Realtor® sponsors, Howard Hughes raised over $90,000 for these charities.
Tammy Davis is the Lifestyle Coordinator for The Woodlands Hills where she is responsible for the development and implementation of a full schedule of events and activities for residents of The Woodlands Hills. During the pandemic, Tammy Davis created and hosted numerous virtual events for residents to remain engaged and enjoy.
Silver awards were given for the following categories for The Woodlands Hills and Bridgeland:
- Best Industry Community Spirit Award – HHCares – Community Contributions During the Pandemic
- Best Realtor/Broker Program – HHC’s Top Producers Club
- Best Landscape – The Woodlands Hills
- Best Special Promotion – Harvest in the Hills
The Woodlands Hills is one of Houston’s newer master planned communities located 13 miles north of The Woodlands® in Conroe and Willis. Bridgeland, located in Cypress, is the #1 top-selling master planned community in Houston and Texas and is #9 in the nation, according to RCLCO.
The NAHB pays tribute each year to standout developers, homebuilders and communities in North America who exemplify superior design, marketing and sales achievements that make them leaders in their fields. The Howard Hughes Corporation nominated The Woodlands Hills and Bridgeland in several key categories, a sign of its continued excellence among Greater Houston master planned communities.
